DSCN0012.jpgJaleh Meshkati

FCI Volunteer

Jaleh’s dream has always been to give back to her homeland.  She is very happy and thankful that The Foundation for the Children of Iran gave her the opportunity to help her fellow countrymen.  It is the most important pleasure in her life.  She coordinates all of the healthcare appointments for each patient who arrives in Minneapolis for treatment, along with providing help in translating, making the patient and parent as comfortable as possible in their temporary housing, and supporting them while they are in a different country and environment.

Jaleh worked as a nurse in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota metropolitan area for many years, and now lives and works in Denver, Colorado as an RNBS Vascular Access Consultant.  She is the proud mother of two grown and successful children, a boy, Pooria, and a girl, Pegah.  She also has five grandchildren who are the light of her life and precious to her.  She came to the U.S. as a single mother, changed her career from engineering and furthered her education here becomming a registered nurse.  It is Jaleh's passion is to help others.  She is an integral part of the Foundation; we do not know what we would do without her compassion and loving care for our patients.
