New Patients
Delaram is coming along excellently, and we are now preparing for our next two patients - Cyrus is a little boy that we heard about very recently - he has a brain tumor, and the doctors here need to examine him as soon as possible, with a view to treating him - we are in the process of obtaining all requirements for the visa application procedure. Davood is another little boy who we have been monitoring for a year and a half for cardiovascular problems. The doctors now feel that he should be brought over for surgery, and he will be coming to Minneapolis later this year. With your help, we will be able to arrange the best possible treatment for them.

Salar preparing to leave the hospital after successful surgeryThank you to everyone who contributed to help Salar receive the care he needed. FCI was able to transfer $40,000, half the cost of his care, to Stanford Medical Center. We have also added financial information on the patients the Foundation has recently helped. Also, please note that our accountants - Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP - have asked that discounts be reported as donations. Therefore we now include the total patient billed amount in expenses, and any discounts on the medical services as a donation, along with donations from our generous supporters.__________________________
